Depeerings happen when Cyclops stops seeing an AS link for more than 24 hours. Currently there are two types of anomalous depeerings: transient and heavy. Transient depeerings happen when the link lifetime is less than 5 days at the time of the depeering. Heavy depeerings happen when the weight of the link is more than 10 routes at the time of the depeering.
