Go to Cyclops web interface

To start Cyclops, enter the ASN you want to observe and the time period you are interested, and then click "Submit". You will see a list of neighbors of the target AS shown on the panel.

  1. Output Format:
    ASN: The ASes that the target AS connects to. Click on the number expand the connectivity of this AS.
    AS Name: The name of organization owns this AS.
    Type: The type of ASes from peeringDB and our own classification.
    Relationship: Customer, provider or peer, based on observed BGP paths.
    Degree: The number of links an AS has in last 6 months.
    First Appearance: The date when the link first appeared.
    Disappearance Date: The date when the link disappeared. This field is blank if the link is alive on the specified end date. The number of days the link has been disappeared is shown in the parentheses.
    Lifetime: The number of days that the link is up.
    Weight: The average number of routes of link A-B over number of monitors with full tables. The value in Yesterday is the number of routes seen yesterday, and the value in Average is the average number of routes over number of monitors with exponential average over time.
    Weight Difference: The difference between yesterday's weight and average weight. Value shows the number of routes in difference, and % shows the percentage of the difference over the temporal average number.
    Last BGP Message: The last BGP update message of this link. Click on the prefix to see the whole message.
  2. The output list can be sorted by all columns except Last BGP Message. To sort with a column, click on the title of it.
  3. To know what ASes are owned by an organization, use the link on the right top of the page to search ASN by AS name.
